What is Sound Healing?

In the Vedic tradition, sound is associated with the element of space, or ether.

Empty space permeates everything in existence. What we take to be solid matter is really 99.9999% space.

If we removed all the empty spaces in our cells, the entire human race would fit into a space the size of a sugar cube!

Sound -the vibrations around us- powerfully penetrate and shape the spaces within us.

We are constantly affected by sounds of all kinds. Lawn mowers, barking dogs, sirens, running water and the voices of our loved ones all contribute to our individual frequency and vibration.

How Sound Connects to the Spiritual World

The medicine of sound penetrates the core of your being, transcending the physical, mental and emotional to recalibrate your personal vibration and elevate at a deep spiritual level.

During your Sound Healing session, the soundscape transports you to an altered state of consciousness, a state in which you can access the chitta.

Chitta, the Sanskrit name for the foundation of consciousness, encompasses both individual and collective consciousness.
At this profound level, we share our consciousness with all humans that have ever lived.

In a transcendent state, our consciousness breaks free from time and space to connect with the eternal, the world of Spirit.
In this ethereal plane, we can meet and communicate with benevolent ancestors and spirit guides.

What will  Sound Healing be like for me?

Each sound healing experience is as unique as the person experiencing it.  Past participants in sound healing have reported feelings of deep wellbeing, insights for personal problems, visions and direct communication from ancestors, illumination of their lineage and resolution for interpersonal issues.

The Science Behind Sound Healing:

Sound healing has been passed down through generations since ancient times; and modern science is beginning to validate its effectiveness. Studies show that sound therapy can have measurable physiological effects, such as lowering heart rate, reducing blood pressure, and alleviating symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Additionally, functional MRI studies demonstrate changes in brain activity during sound healing sessions, indicating shifts in states of consciousness and heightened states of relaxation.

According to the principles of quantum physics, matter is composed of vibrating energy fields.  Sound vibrations influence these energy fields and promote healing.
